Denver Architectural Photographer

In the early years of photography, few if any photographers were specialists in architectural photography. Hardly a living could be made just photographing buildings. Early photographers did photograph buildings, but often working from the window of a convenient room rather than at street level.

Today, architectural photography is a major industry of it's own. Commercial Architecural Photography for schools, offices, residential real estate, medical buildings and recreational centers are common. And, the quality of the photography is excellent. The architectural photographer has a myriad of tools to work with that weren't available years ago.

The 4 x 5 format camera has reluctantly given way to the new digital camera. Digital photography can be seen immediately and the photographer can make necessary adjustments right on the spot. But don't be fooled into thinking that a great camera will automatically take great architectural photos. There are numerous skills necessary to create a quality architectural photograph including lighting and exposure compensation.

Companies use architectural photography for advertising in brochures and other media and the quality that is needed takes special care and skill.
